ABOUT

OVERVIEW INFO

Campbell County Red Devils are one of the premier youth football organizations in the local area. The Red Devils organization has been in existence since 1958 and is a member of the Northern Kentucky Youth Football League.  The goal of our organization is to teach the fundamentals and discipline of football in a competitive environment.  Our various squads have won many NKYFL championships and is one of the most successful programs in the league since its inception.
 

The experience the children gain from the exposure and training that Campbell County Red Devils offers gives them an enormous advantage against their competition as they enter high school.

The Campbell County Red Devil Program is open to children ages 3-13. We offer flag football for players 3-5 years old, full equipment football for players ages 6-13 years old, and cheerleading for 3-13 years old. They are split into age divisions – Starters, Midget Youth, Midget, Junior Youth, Junior and Seniors. Since this is a community team, not sponsored by a school, any child living in Campbell County is welcome to join. 

COMMUNICATION

We have multiple means of communicating: 

  • Facebook - "Like" our Facebook page so you see up to the minute CCRD news.

  • Website - This site is loaded with information about the team, practice and game information, directions, NKYFL information and is updated throughout the season. 

  • Email - Ensure your email addresses are contained in our distribution list. When you register we will add you to the list automatically, if you change emails please notify us as soon as possible at campbellcountyreddevils@gmail.com.

  • Texting - An assigned Team Parent will communicate last minute specific team related information to you as necessary; he/she must have your most current and preferred contact information at all times. Typically they will use a group texting app as the fastest, most efficient way to communicate with the team.

PRACTICE

Practices are held at Friendship Park, Cold Spring, KY.

  • During regular season, practices are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6:00-8:00. Players/cheerleaders are expected to attend all scheduled practices.

  • Football - for practice, the players will need: football pants (if the practice pants have pads, you do not need a girdle, if they don't have pads you will), a practice jersey, socks, cleats and water bottle.

  • Cheer - for practice, the cheerleaders will need: gym shoes and water bottle. They must wear shorts and t-shirt/tank top for each practice.

FUNDRAISING

We rely heavily on fundraising, please plan to participate in fundraising this year as well as volunteering to help during our host (home) games. Information regarding this in the Welcome Packet and throughout the season.
